Douglas J. Melman received his medical degree from SUNY
- Stony Brook, School of Medicine, and subsequently completed his
Residency in Dermatology at New York Medical College, where he was
Chief Resident. Dr. Melman holds a teaching position in the
Department of Dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
He is also on staff at NSUH at Plainview and Syosset. Dr. Melman
is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
In
addition to his clinical appointments, Dr. Melman maintains a number
of professional affiliations. He is an active member of the following
organizations:

- American Academy of Dermatology (AAD)
- International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery
