Douglas J. Melman, M.D., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Melman graduated with his medical degree from the SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine, where he was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Before medical school, he received his undergraduate degree in Biology and Economics from Washington University, where he was an Eliot Honors graduate and member of several honor societies.
After graduating, Dr. Melman completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center and a residency in Dermatology at New York Medical College, serving as Chief Resident during his final year.
Throughout his training and practice experience, Dr. Melman has contributed to several leading dermatology publications, and remains active in the following organizations:
